the power of sword and sorcery, and TALAN lets you be a part of the action!
In the TALAN universe, mystical forces and fantasy are the norm. Heroes walk the land wielding steel and magic alike. The civilized world is populated by elves, goblins and dwarves, a common sight alongside trolls, ogres, and giants. The wilderness houses things best left alone.
Of course, not everyone aspires to be a lowly sell-sword relying on the strength of his steel for his next meal, or a lofty battle caster calling fire from the heavens to smite her enemies. In the TALAN universe, all walks of life are necessary as the game unfolds over the course of a day or more… in real time. Even the sneaky information broker must do research, find rare items, heal wounds, repair property, or keep his vast sums of accumulated hard currency safely locked away. If you can imagine it as a means of survival (be it a craft, knowledge, or selling your sword-arm) you can do it in TALAN.
